Seems that Pachter is still underperforming as far as his brain is concerned. |
Maybe it's his working strategy: he gives the right advices to investors that pay him and talks rubbish for free, so that investors that aren't his clients play into his clients' hands. If so, it could be considered almost agiotage, and it would be by no means legal, but given that most probably stock exchange commissions members don't understand shit about gaming, he can get away with it...

60K in Italy alone!! |
On the other hand, it sold 60% of initial shipment in a month. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.
MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.
Analyst, Doug Creutz from Cowan & Company believes game releases in the US have not met sales expectations in September, which includes the massive Microsoft hit – Halo: Reach.
Creutz says Halo: Reach managed 3.3 million units during the month going on the latest NPD figures, which was well below Cowan’s estimate of 3.75 million, totalling around a 450k shortfall.

So does that mean Reach failed? No. It means analysts are retards.

Yeah... Halo: Reach sold less than Halo 3 in US by NPD.
But here is a Move thread, no?

The contents is irrelevant really, I'm merely pointing out that analysts make comments based on their own predictions and the results compared with said predictions. In this guys eyes Reach failed when the rest of the world sees otherwise.
All I'm saying is Pachter is no different and Move may have been "Well below expectations" compared to his predictions but that doesn't mean it is below sony's or anyone elses. The guy could have had unrealistic expectations.

How much was it?
| whatever said: Wait, did Patcher just violate NPD's new policy by revealing how much the PS3 sold? 312,000 is not bad. Wii is really in trouble it seems now. |
I don't know if I understood correctly, but NPD's new policy should be that they won't release anymore to the public monthly data, but their paying customers can.
