My example, i already had ps eye, so i bought one move controler to try out demos. I didnt bought any specifical games for it, i was broke i already bought fifa. Few days later my sis bought me another move as a gift. I ll buy sport champions next month, i already have heavy rain. So there are other possibilities.

Sony includes PS EYE, Dildo, Navi as individual parts of ps move. There is over 800k PS eye in Europe(Eye pet 0,5 million, Eye of judgement 0,3 million). Sony forgets that not even half of PS eye owners have ps move controller.

Sports Champions is going in EU down fast (and this is the game that almost everyone with Move bought) and they say they sold only in EU 1.5m of Move... yeah right. It could be but counting Starter packs navi move to retailers, not the other way around.

Why would they count Eye sales on their own?  This seems pretty unlikely to me.  Move = Move bundle, Move wand or Move navi.  At most, if they're being cheeky, they are counting any standalone Eye sales since Move launched, but that's unlikey to make much difference on way or the other.

If he says 1.5 million shipped on Bloomberg then he almost certainly means since Move launched officially in Europe.  And if he says they may up production then it means he knowns sell-though has been good enough to warrant it.

Of course, they could be lying through there teeth - but TBH that's actually pretty unlikely in this context.

Why are you basing sales off sports champ its not even bundled with PSmove in EU, ppl could have bought other game for their MOVE like RE5,Heavy rain,RUSE etc, these were on the chartz as well as Sports champ.

This was always going to be a problem with the way Sony report figures and the VGC estimate methodology.  Sony reporting on the sum of its' parts and artificially inflating figures and VGC looking instead at a complete usable 'Move package', which could affect figures 4:1 (plus units on shelves and possibly pre-shipped units).  How can we have any sort of confirmation of an active install base without looking at the software sales? 

They count every subcontroller, move controller as one. So if I buy 2 move controller and one subcontroller, the userbase is still ONE and not 3. And it is shipped.

do you really think there is almost a 3 million userbase (NA EU) and yet Sports Champion sells 360k? It is bundled in NA and most parts of Europe. This doesn't make sense. According to VGC the Move games Sports Champion, Start the Party and Racket Sports move sold 290k in Europe, add 20-30k for heavy Rain and RE5 and that's it. So there are more than 1.2 million PS Move users who did not buy a game for it?! I somehow doubt that.

And it is not VGC alone, please check PAL Charts in Europe. Sports Champion is not in the top10 in UK (No. 18!), not in the top 5 in France, Germany or even Spain. Of course there is NO other Move game even close to Sports Champion. And if this number would be sold to customers, PS Move would sell MUCH faster than the PS3 did in its first 2 months. Actually it would have outsold it by 3:1 and be head to head with the Wii (the fastest selling console of all time) in the first holiday season. And even outsell it 4:1 in Europe. Wii sold 750k in its first 2 months on the market according to VGC and PS Move sold 1.5 million in 1 month.

I think you might not have thought this through lolz.
