It sucks that Nintendo hasn't announced a cool pre-order bonus for this like for DKC.
Kirby always gets the shaft. =(

When I saw the title of this thread, I went:
"No! It's not true! That's IMPOSSIBLE!!!"
O, was I wrong. It's a shame I have to pass up another game that I want! *sob

And proud member of the Mega Mario Movement!
I was fooled for a sec. You should work for the American Idol elimination rounds.
OT: Super excited! Can't wait for super mega fun!
I can't believe IGN's opening statement
"By the look of the game it's pretty obvious, but it definitely needs to be mentioned: Kirby's Epic Yarn is a younger skewing game, and as such, experienced gamers might find less of a challenge here than in other high profile games. Kirby may take a hit from an enemy or fall off the world, but players are not punished with the finality of losing a life. So, with that said, beating Kirby's Epic Yarn is not a challenge, and you should know that right from the start."
I mean, the guy must not have played Uncharted, Assassin's Creed II, or Prince of Persia. All of which he probably considers a high profile game. In all 3 of those when you "die" you only get sent back a very small portion of the game making the experience overall fairly easy. But then again, if they ever made a game as hard as the original Super Mario Bros most media outlets would probably claim the game was too hard.

Game looks really great, I'm not a huge Kirby fan but I'm very excited about getting this game on Sunday.
I am kind of surprised about the focus of not dying in the game. Like nordlead said how many games these days actually have significant repercussions for dying? The inclusion of the medal system based on number of beads seems like a great way to encourage a player to avoid taking damage in a level to me.
@norlead what are you on??? try playing uncharted on crushing, you'll be doing alot of dying. I played Epic Yarn at Comic con and it was pretty ez, but then again I always thought Kirby games were a little on the ez side anyway, nothing wrong with that doesnt take the enjoyment away. You think the original Mario Bros. was hard??? that was the easiest one for me besides Mario DS

And you surely haven't played Uncharted on the hardest difficulty. Prince of Persia was still rather challenging even though it didn't matter if you died. Haven't played AC2 yet but the first was sometimes hard.
But it's not the first I hear Kirby is easy. I read it in a preview once.
