Polyphony Boss Tweets About GT5 Delay [12]
GT5 Delay Decision Was “Made Yesterday” [30]
GT5: The Aftermath [54]
Here’s some good news for everyone that’s still crying big fat tears after yesterday’s Gran Turismo 5 delay news – as far as Polyphony Digital are concerned, the delay’s just 3 days.
That’s according to Game Reactor, who cite one of their journalists currently at the Japanese developer’s studio who’s directly quoting Kazunori Yamauchi.
Of course, this is a 3 day delay in getting the game mastered and gold, and thus could well translate into a bigger delay to get the game pressed, duplicated, shipped, boxed and distributed, but it’s still looking incredibly likely to hit before Christmas unless further delays manifest.
Of course, three days could be just enough to build in – say - a newer firmware requirement…

THis is from Game Reactor:
A journalist colleague of ours, Gregor Wildermann, who is visiting Tokyo and Polyphony Digital passed on information of what Polyphony Digital head Kazunori Yamauchi had to say about the cancelled release date of Gran Turismo 5.
His reply was that the game was only three days late from their side, and that Sony has to decide what that means for the release. And so far Sony have not given gamers a new date, but hopefully the wait won't have to be that long.

No offence to Kazunori Yamauchi san but I ain't gonna believe this until I see 100%. Then again Nov 2, 3, 4 and 5th dates were supposed to be 100% confirmed dates so... I ain't gonna believe until I see it in my hands.
