Forums - Nintendo - Should Nintendo put the next F-Zero on hold?

F-Zero on 3DS would be spectacular.  I feel an F-Zero on Wii would be too dumbed down, with "Wii-mote" compatible controls and the like, and it would probably lack an online mode as well, something that this franchise REALLY needs for it to be able to compete on the current and next generation of systems.

The Wii is sorely lacking in online-multiplayer titles, and I doubt F-Zero would get some proper online treatment if it were released on Wii.  The 3DS on the other hand seems to be built with online and WiFi as a major focus point, so F-Zero would more likely get a proper online mode on it.

And have Nintendo do it in-house... AV did a smash-up job with the visuals on GX, but the gameplay left a little to be desired.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Around the Network

i think a F-Zero would work on both Wii and 3DS. On Wii, if made right, could take advantage of the motion controls; on 3DS the better graphics mixed with 3D would enable a great sense of speed.

I've said it already but I would defenetly like too see it on 3DS.

F-Zero is simply not a big seller and is fading.    Nintendo should focus on a game with will sell to a much bigger base.

Like Fire Emblem!

Seriously I think it'd make more sense to put F-Zero on 3DS than on Wii.

Still want another Fire Emblem though...

I would be okay with a Fire Emblem on 3DS. Gimme gimme gimme. ALl new Fire Emblem! I need it right now.

Having both would be ideal.

Actually Nintendo should just keep making all the games I like best. That is the most satisfying solution for me personally.
