I haven't been using my Wii much in the past 3 months (I got lazy with my EA Sports Active routine. lol) but I have definite plans to. Wii Sports Resort, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and some Wii rpgs. And there's a whole lot of hardcore/niche Wii titles out there that seem interesting but I'm not sure if I'll get to them. Also I just got Just Dance 2 shipped en route to me today by my rental service. rofl. I can't wait to strut my stuff. Obviously I would never tell my acquaintances that I played such a game (lol). I don't see what's so wrong with a guy playing a dancing game. It could be fun. Or worth some lulz. Or both.
I've also played a lot of the "hardcore" Wii games (No More Heroes 1 2, Madworld, Muramasa, Dragon Quest Swords, FF Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon, The Conduit, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, Sam & Max: Season 1, Broken Sword). I just haven't been playing on the Wii much lately due to 360/PS3 gaming taking up time and my recent purchase of a PSP.
| oniyide said: @barozi thats pretty much it, needs more good 3rd party support. i think someHD gamers just dont take the Wii seriously I mean when you go in to store and see about 5 diff. cabelas hunter games, some Barbie games and a bunch of poorly done minigame compilations not to mention the subpar support that WiiWare gets (WTF does DSware have better support?) im just saying its hard to take it seriously with all those problems and the Wii is lacking in alot of genres, fighting, racing(sim), sports games arent great, FPSs are lacking, little JRPGs no WRPGs, etc |
The Wii's jrpg library rivals the PS3 and Xbox 360 in quantity these days.
Rune Factory: Frontier, Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon, Shiren the Wanderer, Fragile Dreams, Arc Rise Fantasia, Muramasa, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers, FF CC: Echoes of Time, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love, Baroque, Dragon Quest Swords, Phantom Brave: We Meet Again, Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga, Opoona, Dokapon Kingdom.
And then you have Dragon Quest X, The Last Story and Xenoblade due in the future.
