Anyone think that had Metroid: Other M been made for the HD systems , it would have had exponentially better sales?  I know that's not a possibility really since it's a Nintendo owned IP, but even so.  Is it really so bad to wonder?

It would have not had any better sales because nothing can cover up an awful plot mechanic like listening to your ex-boyfriend because he says you aren't allowed to use your Varia Suit in a fucking volcano.

What's the question-- is it bad to wonder or would Other M sell better in HD?  Either way, I vote yes.

Would mario galaxy sell better on HD consoles? No. Would Mario kart sell better on HD consoles? No. would Zelda? No. I doubt this game would either. But if you said would Madworld, NMH and Conduit sold more on HD consoles i would say definitely. 1st party Nintendo games won't sell more on other consoles.

Other m would probably sell worse on HD consoles. It's just not a very good game, didn't get the review praise and is considered an abomination to the franchise in general. Game would be doomed on everything.

Why would a nintendo game sell more on non-nintendo system?

I don't really think so since a bad game would still be bad even in hd. Metroid is a nintendo franchise too so I don't really think it'll do any better on the hd consoles, probably worse then the wii sales.

On other systems, Metroid wouldn't have the same brand power, so I'm going to say no

It would have had to compete directly with Halo and the other common shooter fodder. So absolutely not. Leave this masterpiece where it is.

i think if its true they would add online support and remove samus and replace her with a bald space marine with slight case of over machonism.

but i would say yes at first, but it will lose the legs and die as a mediocre shooter that everyone forgot.
