What are the Jetpacks like in Halo Reach Multiplayer?

I'm asking this because since Killzone 3 is gonna have it in it's Multiplayer so I was wondering what pros and cons there were in using jetpacks in Halo Reach. Like was it annoying trying to bring down dudes hovering above you? Did you happen to miss some kills because your target just suddenly flew away with the jetpack? Do you use it a lot?

While I do know that the jetpacks between the two games will play differently but your answers will provide a pretty good impression as to what to expect.

I have no problem with jetpack gameplay in Single Player but was wondering what it'll be like in Multiplayer.

But are they easy to shoot down?

Great for some maps, sub-par for others. It really depends completely on the map, but as a whole, they are fun and easy to use and they are not overpowered since you basically become a bullseye when you use it.

They're fun knowing your enemy is on the top floor jetpack up there and kill them

The jetpacks are a surprisingly great addition.

Makes it easier to get around and shooting them down is always fun.

I guess people will find negative things about them, but they seem to have been integrated nicely.

they're okay, they make areas easier to get to, but they make you an easy target.(I always run into people using the jetpacks)

it really depends on what map you on; they're great to use on maps like countdown and spire, but useless in open field maps(can't remember the names...)

Like everyone else said it depends on the map.

You have to be smart when your using them or else you become a huge target since you move relatively slowly and you can't strafe. Use them wisely though and it can be so satisfying moving throughout the level in unexpected ways to outsmart your opponent.

It is definitely one of my favorite armor abilities along with sprint.

Most of the time, they can get away once in a while or if they play it smart just Drop on the person and end them.

Killzone 3 is different to Halo Reach

they will have different things. Like there could be something to take down the jet packs and different maps basically different

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong
