Forums - Microsoft - Help me spend my money

Well my parents had a party and my little sister let one of the toddlers play on my 360. Somehow the little kid managed to purchase 4000 ms points using my account >.>

Anyways I called ms and they won't give me a refund so now I need help spending the points. Suggestions can be anything including games from xbla, indie games and even games on demand for the original xbox. Here's a list of games I already bought before or have played through completely.

-Braid

-Undertow

-Bionic Commando Rearmed

-Marathon

-Fable

As you can see its not a lot. I'm mostly looking for games that can give me a long amount of enjoyment in single player but that I can also enjoy with my friends in co-op or multi when they come over. So go ahead and give me suggestions and help me spend my money

Lol, lucky you it was only 4000 points. About 2 months ago my 9 yr. old son "accidentally" purchased 8000 points :)

As far as games go, I'm not qualified to give suggestions with the criteria you have BUT I have to say regardless, you should get Shadow Complex and Limbo. Also you can just hang on to your points because you know as a Halo player you are gonna wanna rock some DLC maps when they start dropping.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

I'd say the new Lara Croft would be a good addition as well as Plants vs. Zombies, Castle Crashers and especially TRIALS HD

True but Halo map packs have never cost more than 800 points so that still gives me a good amount to spend. Plus nothings been announced yet so I'm not too concerned as of now.

I played the demo for Limbo and it was amazing. The only thing I'm concerned about is whether I'll ever play the game again once I finish it. Is there any incentive to go back?

The Shadow Complex demo was really good too. I think that game would really benefit from co-op. How long does it take to run through the game?

Yeah, I'm gonna say that your concerns with Limbo would be legit, I only went through once but oh man what a joy it was. I'm no achievement whore either so that would give it a little more time. Did I mention how awesome it was though?

It's been a while since I played Shadow Complex but it was definitely longer than Limbo. I think I remember people bitching about it only being around 5 hrs. long. IIRC though that was finishing the game without being 100% of the upgrades.

I'm not the type to be upset with a game being too short though, especially when it's quality from end to end and IMO these two games are quality.

Thanks for reminding me of splosion man, I'm definitely going to get that. Could you give me some info on assault heroes and the risk game?

@Toad

Yea now that I think about it I agree with you. I'm definitely going to get one of those games but I'm going to wait and see what other people suggest. I really wish the standard for xbla games was 800 points like it used to be, would let me get so many more games.

assault heroes is a top down dual stick shooter.  online and offline co op (2 players).  you get vehicles or can go on foot and you shoot people.  not very long.

risk...familiar with the board game?  they have a classic mode which plays like the board game and a new mode which adds some objectives for winning the game and special tiles which do things.

Also if anyone knows any xbox original games that are hard to find in stores now and that are good definitely suggest them. I bought Fable for 800 points when it was on sale and had a ton of fun with it. I also have Ninja Gaiden and Halo:CE so don't bother recommending those.

I'm going to go grab something to eat and get started on my stem cell hw but I'll be back later, keep the suggestions coming!

Yea I love the board game which is why I asked. How many people can play the game together at the same time on one 360 though?
