Also, 'Monster Hunter Diary Poka Poka Felyne Village', lol whut?

its a spin off

Thanks, I had no idea. Still, what that game has to do with Monster Hunter is beyond me.

Also, big fat WOW @ that game's pretty much being a carbon copy of animal crossing, graphics- and style-wise. It's uncanny.  O_o

i think Monster hunter 3 is going to be on PS3 , not "Tri" , why did they even call it that?

the game is about the felyne kittens you battle with on the Monster Hunter series

And is far from animal crossing, its an RPG, there is a unique battle system and lots of looting and currency.

in short its Monster Hunter but more lighthearted and is (kinda) turn based.

They called MH2 "Dos"
. MH Tri = MH3.

I don't see why MH would jump ship when MH3 did so well on the Wii, if a new main MH comes out this gen. That's just wishful thinking.

they did? well, i didn't notice it (i have the game)

and i wouldn't be surprised if their next game would be on a different console, they always do this. (see here)

Alright then... weird. Still, fun for fans, I guess.

And yeah I know it's not Animal Crossing, it just looks like it. A Lot. That's why I said graphics- and style-wise. Really, I didn't even know this game existed, but if I just saw some videos or screens of it, I'd totally think it was a new Animal Crossing. And so would most people, I think...

Ah well.

well graphics wise i think its more of a Harvest Moon than Animal Crossing to be honest.

in towns it has the same gameplay as well.

I stand by my prediction of MHP3 having the biggest opening for any game in Japan.

Are you counting Pokémon Black and White as separate for these purposes?

Nope, combined.

Sinobi mentioned that first shipment is only expected to be 1m btw.

Pokemon reached 4 million in only 3 weeks in Japan alone with a 30 million DS install base so i kind of doubt it.

Sorry Sonyers... Definitely... NO!!!!!... Pokémon outsell any MH sale... MHP 3 will sale excelent... but ... 5 million  ???... nop....!!! Second, Nintendo DS will sale more than PSP in Japan this year.. Third... TOP 10 sales in Japan... 5 are NDS games Vs only 2 PSP games... Wii has 3 Games in TOP 10... :)

5m is not out the question, but I honestly don't think it will.
