He hasn't watched Ghost in the SHell SAC, or Ghost in the Shell SAC 2nd gig. Beings Solid State Society takes place after the events of 2nd Gig. He should probably wait on that.

Well everyone already got most of the good stuff, but I'll throw in a few lesser known ones. Sword of the Stranger is something I just watched and it had some pretty good fight scenes. Metropolis is also supposed to be a pretty good one, but I haven't been able to watch it yet. Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro is solid and it's done by Miyazaki which is always a plus.
