Forums - Gaming - Castlevania: LoS is THE best looking multiplat Game

I have been playing the game and i can honestly say that this game is the best looking multiplat game outdoing RE5,MW2,Enslaved...

What do you think?the gane is beautiful and extremely polished.

if you don't agree what game looks better??

The only game that comes close to it is FFXIII but that still falls short with some flat textures.

here is my list for best looking multi plats as of now:

1-Castelvania

2-Assasin's creed 2

3-enslaved

4-RDR

5-Resident evil 5

6-FFXIII

7-prince of persia/street fighter

8-MW2

I'm currently in Chapter 5 and it looks really impressive. Great textures, great lighting, etc.

Mercury Steam did a great job here!

2012 - Top 3 [so far]

                                                                             #1                                       #2                                      #3

That's nice to hear.

Anyone playing on Paladin difficulty? Just wondering if that's insanely hard...

Better looking than Arkam Asylum ?

I thought the demo looked ok and i've been told it was the least impressive parts of the game, visually. I plan to get the full game later on.

The best looking multiplat I've played is Assassin's Creed II, but that's just my opinion.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

Only played demo but yeah i can't think of any better looking multiplatform

Im so tired of these posts about casltevania being the "best loking game...".

The game has a static camera, and by doing so feels limiting, dated and borderline frustrating due to camera sucking ass in some moments. The cost at making this game good looking was too great and really wasn't worth it... Taking that visual movement freedom away from the gamer in 2010 is criminal and knocks it down visually in my eyes.

Not to mention that gameplay is completely dwarfed and plays second fiddle to its presentation and voice acting. Thats a blasphemy for castlevania games.  I played around 4 hours of it and then returned it to blockbuster for Enslaved with is much better.

Hope it fails badly and that they never try making a serious, story based castlevania with second rate gameplay.

Also, where the F*** are the heavy metal inspired tunes? Nothing I like about castlevania series and 10 games I played fromt hat universe is present here.

It's certainly up there as the best looking multiplat game. It's also a great example of a game being lead on PS3 and then very well ported to 360 (apart from the odd disc swapping issue when installed to HDD).

I'm so tired of you crying about how you percieve the game to be bad in every Castlevania thread. Its a good game and by you giving it 4 hours (which I doubt you did because earlier you said you gave up after 2 hrs) you didn't do it justice. The game gets exponentially better the farther you go in and its almost like the first 2 chapters are introductions to the story and how the game is played. The sections become quite longer in each Chapter and the puzzles and platforming become a bigger focus of the game. But you didn't give it a chance so you wouldn't know.
