Now that FFXIV reviews are starting to roll in its best to make a Thread for reviews so as to not clutter the forum with review threads of it.

You can still post review threads on the forums for the IGN review as its deemed "important" by many.

First of all spell "pls" correctly, it is "plz".

Secondly Epic fail is the word to use if IGN is below 5/10 too!

Metascore, will be in the 60s it seems, still very, very poor standard imo. scores of 80 are by no means bad, but theres such a mixed reception. imo it did look very good from the trailers and stuff so it seems that it depends very much on the player's experience of MMO's, i think that the gamespot review may well have been an avid fan of MMOs while the 80 reviews approached the game from a differnt perspective.

IGN's mini preview was kinda positive, who knows what way they'll go, but many times games get positive previews but bad reviews!

After watching the Gametrailers review...a little part of me died...

I tried it in open beta and the game blows!  I try a lot of new MMOs and usually you can enjoy yourself for a least a few days but I found FF XIV to be borderline unplayable.  Horrible control scheme, unnecessairly complicated menus and most confusing of all was the awful MOUSE LAG.  Seriously, in this day and age I shouldn't have my mouse pointer moving like molasses across the screen making it extremely difficult to open and navigate menus. 

It was mindboggling how bad my experience with that game was.  I expected a lot more from SE.

Now, I'm not interested in this game
