IGN have just finished reviewing Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1.... and it appears it is awesome, all be it with some issues, but Sonic the Hedgehog has made his return to 2D and i'm looking foward to playing it when its out and checking out the other reviews as they begin to trickle in next week i would expect.

1) Don't feel co-op is needed.
2) Odd title... the original sonics were never really about speed... I honestly feel that when the console games started to focus on speed, that's when the series started going downhill.
3) I can't fuckin' wait for this.

Nice review.. Too bad Sonic accelerates like a minivan...  don't agree that the levels are great.. they are too forgiving making it waaay too easy.. finished it within a hour...
