Are the quests and quest times designed the way there are right now because of the Fatigue system?
When I rad a few scans and info about FF XIV, there were talking highly abou the UI and HUD of the game where it's all customizable and designed to make things more convenient for the player but I guess that's not the case.
And I seriously doubt that even if they delay the PS3 Version, it just won't do the game justice. Can you imagine FF XIV being dumbed down more than it is right now for the PS3 version?

There are two limiting systems in the game.
The first one after playing a job for a total of eight hours in a week it starts reducing the amount of experience you earn and completely stops after 15 hours. Each job has a seperate timer so if you hit the limit on one job you can always try another one and be fine. While you're another job, the timers on every other job start regenerating though I don't know how quickly. I don't like this system but it isn't a deal breaker for me, though that may be because I like to play a lot of different jobs. I don't really believe if I'm paying a monthly fee the game should stop me from playing.
The other system, and this is the one I have a huge problem with, is the limits on quests you can do in a 36 hour period. You can do 8 regional quests (combat) and 8 local quests (crafting). The big problem is they are just kill x number of y creatures and take about 5 minutes to complete. That means after playing for about an hour, it's going to be another 35 hours until I can play the game properly again. It's just an awful system.
