I'm 12 years old years old and what is this?

See, this is why we should have age restrictions on some forum topics.

If this is a murder trial, wtf does it matter if they were a gay couple or not?

Because being gay brings shame to him and to the royal family but being a murderer doesn't.

As you can see from my later post, I understand the social implications to a saudi/arab male. However, what I don't understand is why a western court is even discussing his sexual preference in a murder trial.

Maybe it could be considered a crime of passion of they were in a relationship.

Because it matters.

If he was gay, he could get killed for it by the islamic law which is the sharia and is the normal law in saudi arabia.

Well he did kill someone, so if he manages to get off with just a pat on the back in the West, maybe the Arabs will give him a proper punishment (though for different reasons).

I remember doing a bike ride through manhattan, I decided to stop at a health foods supermarketish store, (amazing place) near 125th to get a protien shake, almost all the lines were packed so instinctivly I looked for the single guys line. (usually they pack 10 items or less) I thought I found it but when I counted the guys items in front of me I counted 12. I knew right away that he was gay and the guy in front of him packed 13.

The way he packed them was very symetric.

Anyway, when I went outside to meet up with the rest of the riders I saw him and his boyfriend over looking the Hudson on a late night picnic.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

Islamic law also would get him killed for what he did even if he wasn't gay but that's something doesn't apply to the royal family sometimes. The same goes for stealing, rape and unlawful acts, they become forgivable when the rich commit a crime. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he doesn't want to be proven gay just not to bring shame or disgrace to the family.

He has to suffer somehow for what he did.
