Note that they said 32 players in a single battle.  On the XBox 360, that is not normal.  The PS3 has multiple choices but not the 360.  That is a key difference.  I believe Kaos Studios is working on this.  When I spoke to them in the past, after meeting them to see Frontlines: Fuel of War, I told them the had to push this large-scale angle.

A sad part in this in general is that developers think they have THE app when they are working on something, and they seldom pan put.

How many Players can reach handle? 32 right?

im not sure, but r2 has 64, mag 256, and kz3 will have 32, and r3 will probably have like r2 64(unless its 32 and im mistaken) so when homefront comes out it will be the 2nd game on the 360 with up to 32 player support, but the 4th on ps3.

note: i am not 100% correct about what i just said, so if its wrong to kill me :).

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

Some people are missing things here.

I played Frontlines: Fuel of War. It was a game with a interesting concept but really was pretty average, and the concept did not work well when it was transferred to multiplayer. Im not sure how its changed between the two games, although Homefront looks more interesting.

Also, Kaos Studios will not go bust as they are owned by THQ. However, all the posts about he game bombing are probably accurate, as THQ has a rubbish record when it comes to shooters in this generation.

If Sniper can sell 500,000 copies and be the craptastic game it is, I think this won't "bomb" by any means.

What is Sniper? Hardly sold 500K.

PC game has some redeming values like being pretty and allowing for 3 screen setup :)

However, the game is pretty bad and gets boring in 30 minutes.

Still 16...but I think that we've established that more players /= better game when Resistance 2 came out. It depends on the game and Halo Reach with any more than 16 people would not be playable.

For me any more than 8 on a map  is too much with all the zaney craziness that is going on.

i just checked its 16 corrent, i'd agree with Resistance being chaotic but sometimes it does work , MAG works fine with all the players online, it adds to the strategy and "objective tactics" feel of the game, it forces you to work with a team,  but for Resistance it is just way chaotic since the maps are small and narrowed, and everyone of the team respawns in the same location, you can just sit there and snipe everyone, i'm hoping they'd work on it on RE3

Actually Kaos Studios runs the game through their own servers, so the number of players in game goes above the normal 16.  They said they were going to do 32 players with Homefront.  This means on one map.

it looks good, but as someone outside the US i am put off another American invasion game.

Anyways they will do alright by releasing it early in the year but it wont be able to do anything against the Giant game and that is BF3 which comes out 2011-2012 which will put this game to shame in large scale warfare.

And this is a BC2 fans choice really, its the same game type but with its own original qualities.

i might pick it up depending on online and it being bug free

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

isn't this a game where america has fallen and is under the heal of the koreans? Kind of the opposite of most games. I guess it still has americans in it.  And might be a first where we can see some US landscapes in a FPS too. This game is getting more exciting for me, I'll probably get it on PC if I can and have time to play.

Looks like a mix of MW2/BC2 with more focus on large-scale, compared to the new MoH being pretty much a mix of the same two games except it focuses on the smaller-scale battles.

I guuuesssss it could be fun if they do it right, though I'm not too sure about it yet, though I'd really just like to stick to BC2.
