Vgchartz says Pacific Rift has sold 0.96 million.
However I stumbled across an article http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/motorstorm-2-sales-hit-1-million-mark
This says that Motorstorm Pacific Rift sold over 1million in the first month!!!
Due to the fact the first motorstorm has sold well over 3 million, how much do you think that pacific rift has actually sold?
2-2.5 mil I would think

Have they made any new shipments since then though. I think ioi has already mentioned that the game was overstocked by shops because they thought the demand would be there but it wasnt.

Sold to retailers...
Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

Midway also said 2 months after MKVSDC launch that it shipped (sold to retailers) 1.8 million, almost 2 years since it's launch and it's done 2.3 million.
A lot of games just tend to get overstocked at launch, think SCIV was another one. Also Moterstorm was heavily bundled. NPD and the likes figures are similar to ours I imagin?
I'm sure ioi will post here if you alert him to it and clarify.
Do any of you actually see the various weekly European sales chart that we get in adittion to NPD ?? Cause if you did you would see that this bombed hard EVERYWHERE. I doubt it has sold even close to the VGC number. What is it with the ps3 exclusives that all must sell millions , according to some people and if they don't even appear in sales charts ...nevermind we'll create our own reality .
1 Million shipped in first month, but platinum is out for a long time, so it just has to be more.

It's funny, everytime I see you posting something that is related to the PS3 VGC numbers have to be overtracked...
OT: I want to hear/read what ioi says about this, it could be undertracked or overstocked, both is possible IMO.
