Forums - Nintendo - Monster Hunter 3 now has highest Wii play time on US Nintendo Channel!

Those numbers are inflated for sure. The Wii's "time played" counter doesn't stop when you hit the home button to pause. And I'm sure many of us do that or even just let the game run when we take breaks. That's why my No More Heroes and Muramasa play time on Nintendo Channel (or whatever is called) is recorded as 40 plus hours (when really I played about 30-35 of NMH across 3 playthroughs and 35 for Muramasa).

That's not a big inflation, though.

This is sick, and not in a good way. People waste WAY too much time on video-games these days.

lol no.

I've donated 300 plus hours to this cause.

I've donated just 90 hours in MH TRi;  lol

MY ZELDA COLLECTION

people are still playing that lagfest of a game called Smash bros. Brawl??? whatever, just glad to see a third party game on the top and one that actually has a good online structure. im shocked that more people are playing World at War than MKWii despite all the crying that the game was "gimped"

Hear that, 3rd Party? You CAN make a game better then Nintendo. Just try. :P

They can start by stopping the thought that we are supposed to prove our loyalty to them by buying their games. They're supposed to prove their loyalty to us by MAKING more games so we CAN buy them.

They made a game for us, and we bought it, not a game to prove that we are for them.

My only surprise is that Mario Kart's so low?  WTF?

That's not exactly a grinding game. It's one you play in short to medium bursts.

I'd say the same of Brawl or GH3.

Then I'd chalk it up to Kart not being about skill as much. I don't mean that in the "casual" sense. I just mean the other two need more practice to get really good at.

I know, I've got about 210 hours on mine

I think the low number is due to the so called 'casual gamers' who might only play their copy for maybe 20-30 hours and have little interest in the online.
