Forums - Sony - Prince of Persia Trilogy official, is PS3 only, supports 3D

PS3 Games are region free... so Europe only doesn't matter.

For me just more important if it has support for trophies.

I'm 99% sure it will support trophies, most likely 3 sets, 3 platinums for each game.

Cool. I will buy if it has thophies because I've played two of them and would be an incentive to play them again.

Yep the same like the GOW Collection. For non Europeans - you can order ot from Amazon.co.uk and have it delivered home. Thats how I got the GOW C last year along with Demons Souls - import from Canada.

I may just get this for the HD, i mean some of the environments in the SoT were very beautiful, i think WW will look very good as well, but TTT was the weakest of the 3 imo. i'm supprised its a PS3 exclusive, surley this is not a wise decision because there must be PoP fans on the 360.... unless MS just didnt care enough to pay them for port to the 360 or something like that....

Why would Microsoft need to pay them when their install base is larger?

Well thats what i dont understand, why arnt they releasing this for the 360 when theres probabily just as many PoP fans as the're are on the PS3. the only logical conclusion i can draw from that is that it takes too much work and resources to do it, and MS dosent care enough to get these games on their system.

or perhaps because of originally being on the PS2, it means that MS have to pay to aquire the creative licenses etc, thus they simply dont care enough to get them on the 360.

They were on the original xbox as well so I doubt that is the issue...

Why isn't this being released in the US? That makes no sense. It makes even more no sense that this isn't on the 360.

The real question is what is going on with the Splinter Cell trilogy? That would be awesome if it gets re-made with Spys vs Mercs online - considering Conviction didn't have Spys vs Mercs and it was gimped in Double Agent.

The Splinter Cell trilogy will probably be bundeled with the PS3 version of Conviction

...in europe

Looks like I will have to kill some people if that happens *rage face*

It's just that simple.

yesyesyesyes PoP Remake Triology!!! Hyyyyppp........................

No!!!! PS3 Exclusive!!

I played Sands of Time and enjoyed it quite a bit, never played the other 2 though.

If this releases at £30 I can see it being £20 pretty soon. Will be a buy!!

I'm not buying that the costs of 3 discs outweigh the benefit of those sales. So yeah, I stick by my original sentiment that this is rather dumb.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

Europe only?!

What I want is my Rayman Collection anyway.
