The Prince has just contradicted the Prince himself (see sig). I wished and am satisfied with this announcement.

Looks at your sig, now looks at you

Look back at your sig, back to you

this can't be true

yet it is true

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

I may just get this for the HD, i mean some of the environments in the SoT were very beautiful, i think WW will look very good as well, but TTT was the weakest of the 3 imo. i'm supprised its a PS3 exclusive, surley this is not a wise decision because there must be PoP fans on the 360.... unless MS just didnt care enough to pay them for port to the 360 or something like that....

Why would Microsoft need to pay them when their install base is larger?

Well thats what i dont understand, why arnt they releasing this for the 360 when theres probabily just as many PoP fans as the're are on the PS3. the only logical conclusion i can draw from that is that it takes too much work and resources to do it, and MS dosent care enough to get these games on their system.

or perhaps because of originally being on the PS2, it means that MS have to pay to aquire the creative licenses etc, thus they simply dont care enough to get them on the 360.

Because Microsofts Media is smaller and they charge per DVD for game releases.

Ubi can't fit 3 games on one DVD and paying more was probably not an option at that price.

Are those games better than cellshaded PoP ?

Why isn't this being released in the US? That makes no sense. It makes even more no sense that this isn't on the 360.

The real question is what is going on with the Splinter Cell trilogy? That would be awesome if it gets re-made with Spys vs Mercs online - considering Conviction didn't have Spys vs Mercs and it was gimped in Double Agent.

It's just that simple.

This is a good reason, but this means that the cost of putting them on, i assume 3 DVDs, was enough to make them think that it wouldnt sell enough on the 360 to warrant the cost of a 360 release. however this dosent rule out digital distribution for the 360 or the US...

The Splinter Cell trilogy will probably be bundeled with the PS3 version of Conviction

I love the 2008 one, but Sands of Time is amazing!

Yes all we need now is the splinter cell collection.
