don't change stuff people quote, and why don't you actually name a game other then just spout BS?

For the sake of not posting a list, I'll just say about 6 Kinect titles so far.

The Kinect is in bigger demand (even at the higher cost of the device) and software sales will be better than Move required games. They can get away with selling games at a higher price. For the record, several Kinect games will be $40 as well.

Are you really implying that there is '6' Kinect games worth owning off the bat?  I'm actually curious.

Just launch titles? I'd say 3. I look at reviews before I consider a purchase.

For example, I'm sure reviews kept a lot of people away from Kung Fu Riders. That really seemed like the most interesting Move required game.

I'm amazed that you find even '3' titles from the Kinect launch list worth owning.  Especially with Move not having any titles worth purchasing.  To my eyes, they both have equally mediocre launch titles.

I don't know about you, but between both of them the only motion control only game I have hope for is sorcery

Move games start at $40. Kinect games start at $50. Do you guys see the price of games affecting the sales of either of these?

Nope.

If the Kinect games are more appealing people will gladly drop the extra $10.

Move required games so far have been lame. The only one that seems worth playing is free with the bundle.

As opposed to the 0 kinect only games worth playing

After trying out a number of games, I'm getting at launch:

Dance Central, Your Shape, Kinectimals, Kinect Sports (and Kinect Adventures although it's bundled anyway).  Ones that I didn't try but am interested in are EA Sports Active 2 (have the Wii version of the first one and although it was good I never used it because I hated have to strap the damn controllers to various parts of my body all the time), Motion Sports, Sonic Free Riders and possibly the Brunswick bowling game pending reviews.

Very excited for Child of Eden and Project Draco next year.

Move launched with titles similar to those(some actually on it), and not well received, in short, you'd probably like alot of the crappy move games too

Move games are $39 and Kinect games are $49?

When the hell did this happen?

Can you point me to the Move versions of Your Shape and Dance Central?  EA Sports Active 2 that doesn't require a controller and can track things like push-ups?   Where is the Move skiing game that tracks your body downhill?

I must have missed those.

You can pretend that experience of twisting your arms is the same as controlling a gaming with your whole body but it's simply not true.

Now now, I think we all know the reason for the Wii's success is because its games are $10 cheaper than the 360 and PS3.

In all seriousness though, people will buy what has the games they want. $10 won't make much of a difference.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

its not that i think that all kinect games are not worth $50 but games like kinectimals which is basically like a nintendogs for 360 should not be more than $30-$40. Why are kinect games more expensive though? Are they harder to make than wii and move games?

How can you compare the production budgets for a DS games compared to an HD console game?

well if playstation move games are the pretty much in the same range as ds games i don't see why kinect games shouldn't be.

I'm only quoting you because you named a whole bunch of games that made me go look them up and I absolutely have 0 interest in any of them :(
