The only reason I can think of not releasing the extra cars as DLC is just to  artifical increase Fm3 sales.  Artifical as in people buying two copies of the same game.

I also wonder how many more 360 owners compared to Ps3 as I know a few who bought and owned more than one 360  but not wii or ps3.

I assume most of the content will be released later on as DLC.

I remember the Star Wars Ultimate Sith Edition had the Hoth level that was only included on disc for a few months before it was released as DLC.  I figure Turn 10 will do the same thing here.  Regardless it's a pretty big fail on their part to ignore the community or turn their back on them.

It's a shame these companies can't be more like CD Projekt. They released the Enhanced Edition of The Witcher and gave all the extra content to existing customers for free. They didn't even have to pay extra for it like with DLC.

lol what a load of bullshit....firstly i've played Forza 3 for over 30hrs....what "bugs" and "issues" were that big a deal to fix, didn't notice anything wrong...

and whats the point of having an ultimate edition if theres no extra content, or exclusive content, artical seems like a bunch of nonsense...

Uproar was Final Fantasy 13 was announced for the 360, this is not.

Oh noes, a reason to buy it? Who could have thought a Game of the Year edition could have anything more then old DLC???

The news was posted October 1st.  The community started bitching from the start, which is understandable, but why not give them a few weeks before declaring they hate Turn 10?  I'd be upset if they can't buy the cars as a DLC but why start bitching immediately after it was announced?
