Crappy port is crappy -_-;

and i know that MG existed before MGS, i wish the original 2 would get remade by kojima himself, (NOT SNAKE's REVENGE PLEASE!)

I don' know what it is since I despise the MGS franchise. I was just showing you that Nintendo fans knew what MGS was about before even the existance of Sony fans.

Also, PS3 got a crappy port of F.E.A.R. Which is very crappy. But it is still F.E.A.R

its not that way of a Port, i mean't a port where it was bad translated and had too much stuff that doesn't make sense in level design, plus Kojima haven't been involved in it, he even was very disappointed in it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metal_Gear_(video_game)#Nintendo_Entertainment_System

they even did countless jokes about it on the internet.

btw its not MGS its MG , MGS is PS1 game.

People make jokes at many PS3 multiplat's too. But despise having a different team porting the game, it's still (more or less) the same game.

its not the same game (did you read the link?) a lot of the levels were altered or removed and the storyline was effed up, some of the stuff that happens doesn't even make sense, and some of it just lost in translation.

i don't know how this is related to PS3....?

I was just giving you an example since this is not related whether or not Nintendo fans could get a gimpse of what Kojima can do. Because they already had it many time ago.

And back in 2004, Twin Snakes was supervisioned by Kojima. And that turned out a great game, as critics say.

As for me, I think Metal Gear is a boring and clunky actionstealth game but... people seem to love it. Even with boring long cutscenes.

well i said the NES one was done without Kojima knowing, and plus Twin Snakes was indeed made with Kojima's call , but its not the same game or dev team, every fan will tell you the same thing that the original is much better and the Twin Snakes one is far from what the series is about.

Actually some metal gear fans I know praised the Gamecube version of the game, saying it was a pretty good remake and somewhat way more enjoyable in that time because of the updated graphics. I even got a friend whou didn't own a Gamecube and the borrowed mine to play the game he bought himself and still has it for collection.

You have to take in consideration the time it arrives too. MGS was the best and the most awesome militarystealth game back in the time. Just like Super Mario Bros., Halo and Ocarina of Time. People tend to refer to them as the best games ever because of the impact back in the time.

But yeah, you can always disagree.

So at first you are saying you don't like MGS and its boring and blah blah blah then you are praising it and i'm the one that somehow became wrong here?

i've bought a Gamecube when they announced it, and enjoyed the game, but the people who made it probably watched too much matrix and are just didn't know what they are doing with the script or storyline, everything was chaotic its like watching a video game made by Uwe Boll, everything just didn't make sense, for example here this scene.

notice how in the original , it build a very creepy atmosphere, with all that noise and such, you don't even know what to expect, plus notice the guy saying "its... its a ghost" before he dies, on the gamecube version , he says that when he is lifted in the air while impaled??! wtf ? , and the music, its like its making fun of that scene instead of "remaking it" , yeah i know you wouldn't care (you probably didn't even bother looking at the videos anyways) but i'll ask you this did you enjoy Zelda and Mario when it wasn't made by Miyamoto ? (on the Philips CDI?) or did you enjoy Metroid Other M?

Super Mario Galaxy 2 producer was Yoshiaki Koizumi, and Miyamoto went on a record stating this guy was much more involved in the sequel than himself. I believe mainly because many of the world and feeling of the game was done, but yet, SMG2 wasn't a Myiamoto crowned title such as Nintendogs or Wii Fit. And I enjoyed it because its a better game than the first one.

I didn't enjoyed Other M because I don't like the type of game at all.

And what I said about MGS Twin Snakes was the feedback I got from my friends, I said I don't like the game at all.

About those cut sceanes, I'm sorry but in the PS1 version there's no cutsceane at all, while in the remake you got a badass bullet time effects cutsceane. That's awesome imo. One of the best things in that game might really be the cinematic cutsceanes.

You would say the gamecube port is worse no matter what, your that type of person that won't admit that your taste isn't empirical, frankly I've heard legions of wacky excuses why twin snakes is garbage but the original is pure gold, with the best being OH THEY TOOK OUT LEI MING SUPER AWESOME ACCENT IT IS THE FAILZ, if the game was originally so great simple changes to the chereography wouldn't have made it garbage

plus KOJIMA HIMSELF HAD THE ALTERATIONS TO THE CUTSCENE MADE, THEY ORIGINALLY WERE GOING TO BE CLOSER TO THE ORIGINAL GAME,straight for Kojima himself

http://www.gamespot.com/gamecube/action/metalgearworkingtitle/news.html?sid=6029270&mode=previews

silicon knights mainly did the programming, models and cutscenes were handled in Japan by Konami not silicon knights, Twin Snakes is a Kojima game with everything that ear marks it as a Kojima game, deal with it, though I don't see why it should be a problem

I HAVE A DOUBLE DRAGON CAB IN MY KITCHEN!!!!!!

NOW A PUNISHER CAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, Twin Snakes was veyr much approved by Kojima, I didn't realize that anyone who owned the game didn't know that.

Hell, the choreographer for the cutscenes is the same guy who did the Choreography for Versus, I believe. That's pretty cool.

watch the video , what do you mean there is no cutscenes? , and plus weren't you saying the games were boring because there are too many cutscenes? stop trying to spin stuff around just to win this shitty long argument.
