It looks like softserve strawberry icecream (which is another heavily processed foodstuff that is a pretty far cry from just cream, milk, egg yolks, sugar and strawberries) or those little marshmallow bits before they are cut into the hearts, moon, diamonds and clovers and freezedried.

Every now and again, I do get a crazy taste for McNuggets. Not because they "taste like chicken" but because they taste like McNuggets. Kind of like artificial grape soda, which tastes nothing like grapes of any kind I've ever eaten.

Or maybe it's the sweet and sour dipping sauce? Although I think that stuff is mostly HFCS and a little sour flavoring (soured by what I'm not sure I want to know).

The last time I bought McNuggets, they were 20 for $5. In downtown San Francisco. That had me legitimately wondering if they still made them out of chicken, which is totally irrelevant of course. As long as they still taste like McNuggets.

And yes, they're still pretty gross, which is why no normal person should eat them on an even semi-regular basis.

I don't want to be the guy who screams "fraud" at every story like this (I've seen this one before), but given the fact that the mechanically processed goo that makes chicken McNuggets is never packaged and shipped with actual whole chicken parts, heads or otherwise, one still has to ask: how did a breaded/battered, whole chicken head end up in a shipping bag/box of of highly processed meat?

Unless someone brought a deep fried chicken head into McDonald's, dropped it into their box of McNuggets, I just don't see how it's even possible. It would be the same odds as finding a whole, white meat chicken breast, dipped and battered in McNugget batter in your box of McNuggets.

There was a case at a Wendy's some years ago over a human finger found in a serving of their chili, which turned out to have been dropped into the chili by the customer who was suing Wendy's over the matter.

Chicken breast is more likely, they actually have those at McDonalds =P

Also yeah, mechanically reclaimed meat is kind of gross.

Pink mushy stuff... yummy

What I like about chicken nuggets is that they taste good.

Nobody ever said they actually taste like chicken.
