MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

Do you really think that Sony will not cut the price of the PS3 in 2011? I think it's coming sooner than later. Something like 199/249$ console alone, 249/299$ bundles. And I don't think that DQX alone is enough to compensate all the awesome exclusives/multiplats coming on PS3 next year.


Last year we heard how the Wii was doomed once the PS3 price dropped and more games came out, the year before we heard it, the year before we heard it.

Even this year with all the stuff PS3 released like Move and GT5, it still can't beat Wii, next year will be the same old song and dance, and next year you'll probably be trying to convince us that 2012 will be the year of the PS3

 I think whichever company does a price drop will probably sell more units next year.

If the ps3 got a price Cut too $199 then it would matter how much microsoft cut the 360 ir nintendo the wii. getting a blu ray and gamign device etc etc for $200 is incredible. But i dont think that will happen till end of year XD. If they do cut it before end of this month (im just making empty predictions based on the impossibly of a price cut in next 3 weeks lol) then it could easily sell 20 million i think ^^

I believe that this is said by everyone...year after year...and is always wrong....but, heck I guess one year you have to be right?? Right?

My prediction...1.Wii by a long shot....The difference between 360/PS3 will be small that it wont really matter which is 2 or 3.... I would give the edge to 360, because the Kinect seems more popular than the move overall.... but, who knows...Ultimately it probably wont matter...

I've read this sometime for 2010, you know because GOW 3, GT 5, etc... I wonder if this'll be true for next year.
