Eh. I don't see why she shouldn't it's not like if they're bad suddenly all the other books will become bad.

If they suck I'll just ignore them like I ignore the Star Wars prequels and the Matrix sequels.

It'll probably happen, eventually. The last book's ending was really sort of lame. It felt terribly cut short and sudden, after building up to it over the span of 7 books. :-S

I could sit here all day and say "don't milk it" but.... I WANT MOAR MAGIC BOOKS

I don't know, people who get a lot of money easily spend and lose a lot of money.  I have no idea how she handles her money, I just know it's not hard to spend millions of dollars when you have it (I wish I know that from experience ;_;).

It would surprise me if she blew an incredibly large chunk of it, sees the end othe money coming with the last two movies, and needs more money.

She could either take a risk and hope her name would be enough to find another cash cow like Harry Potter or just make another book in the Harry Potter universe and take virtually no risk.

(and don't get me wrong, I love the Harry Potter books and would gladly read a new one if it came out)

i love harry potter but i hope she doesn't.  the finally was pretty final to me.  i'll read whatever she puts out next regardless but a new world outside of the harry universe would be my preference.

Maybe write about other stuff happening in the "Potter Universe", Harry's story is done.
