Ah.. so you're the type of guys that like the sentimental feel of a new fresh game of a great series.. I know how ya feel..

I do have a bit of the collector in me, yes. :)

ahh yes, I have the same thing hence, I get so worked up when I buy a used game and the previous owner treated it like crap... drives me nuts..

I usually just don't buy used games. >_>

The only used games I have bought were MGS1 and DBZ: Budokai 2. The only reason I got BDZ used was because the dumass GameStop employee brought out a used copy, even though I never once said I wanted a used copy. It was a crowded store, I didn't feel like arguing, and it was only DBZ afterall, so I just checked otu and left.

I always pre order. I know when games are coming out so I throw down $10au and save the rest. Helps the budget. I preordered my ps3 for a yr. I never by used games, unless it's rare. I buy all the games I want to collect, the rest I wait til they are platinum or really cheap. The latest thing I'm doing is pre ordering at EB (as you get cool items i.e. I got a Aluminum Case for Assassins Creed) and then I wait for a catalog and EB match the price. Here in Aust, Big W (department store) sell there ps3/xbox games for $88au, where as EB and others sell for retail which is $100 - $120au. That can be a saving of up to $40 odd. Now I get good pre ordered items (collectors items) and the cheaper price.

 I usually pre-order games now, but a 4-5 years ago I couldn't afford jack sh*t, lol.

I recently bought a whole load of PS2 games

(Silent Hill, FF12, Siren, Parappa 2)

And it just kinda bugs me how FF12 has a cut on the cover, haha.. I buy used games too, its good for budget.. but I guess I like the aesthetics of a game case ? haha I dunno..

I don't know what I am talking about

I always try and get brand new games for budget prices.brand new game = untouched virginpre-owned game = used slut I guess I see it like this, so at the end of the day who doesn't want a virgin.

Lmao, so true.

hahaha great analogy I keep all my new games virgins but some of the used ones look like pure sluts... with herpes haha

herpe games

Understanding is the key.

tell me about it, but now that I'm working I have more money for game but of course less time to play them, ah well.

I guess a gamers dream would be to be unemplayed, be payed for it, and enjoy life and games, one can dream such awesome dreams.

Funnily enough I haven't worked in almost six months, yet I can still afford to buy stuff (for the most part, I haven't picked up Uncharted yet).

I need to get another job man.  I worked at LSU's Rec Center last spring semester, but I came home over the summer and transferred to UNO so I could stay home, and haven't been able to find a job since.  Not that I'd want one, since all my lessons and concerts etc. have been taking up loads of time.

It pisses me off, because it seems like I have a lot of busy work to do now that just wastes my time.  I have little time for work or games, hell, even guitar practicing.  I spend all my time practicing the jazz crap they want me to practice, and have little time for the stuff I like.  I had been losing some of speed because I couldn't practice my finger exercises, etc. but now that I'm off for Christmas, I've been practicing the good stuff like mad, lol.

Quite off topic question. I have played trough Metal gear solid 2 subsistence and I have not played MGS1, I also have MGS3 subsistance(just played few hours). When I started to play MGS2 I got several options too choice between If I had played MGS1 and on. How much does those options change the game?

I'm not sure how they affect the gameplay. I've onyl palyed through each game once so far.

Ive only finished Portable Ops , though I had played all of them ( except the GBC version ) . It has some of the best stories IMO , but sometimes , it goes to far ... a bit waaay to far :(

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!
