As for another delay to the launch, I think he's gone wrong there. He's ignoring that Nintendo have stated they will ship 4 million units in one month, which points to a big global launch between Feb26th and the end of March. There's no way they'll ship 4 million to Japan in one month. Besides, Nintendo's last major hardware launch ('major' meaning a completely new system, not hardware revisions) took place inside of a month, didn't it? November 19th to December 8th for Wii in 2006.

They've missed the crucial end of year sales period to ensure there's enough stock for a global launch, I feel. Those 4 million units will be shipped across Japan, Europe and North America by the end of March 2011.
