I wonder if they sold the tech to EA for the heartrate monitor for EA Spots Active 2 (which sports a $100 price tag).

I also realize that it may be Nintendo looked, decided other tech was better and/or the market was limited, and dropped the project quietly.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

They could be holding out to improve it and better incorporate the technology for their next console. But I think Nintendo should follow through with this on Wii if they want to reinvigorate the console. I think there is a HUGE untapped market out there for a relaxation type of game.

I voted 'biding their time', but to be honest, I don't know what they're biding their time for...get something out there Nintendo, re-ignite the Wii passion, lol.

Bah!

I hope it is dead, the thing looked stupid, what pratical application could you have made for games???? 3rd parties probably werent gonna touch it, and Ninty would have made one game get a bunch of people to buy it and never be heard of from again. They dont even support motion were people expecting them to support something that is essentially much less useful???
