I fail to see why people reckon the Vitality Sensor would be big...

Name me one good use for it in games.

We can only hope. Not sure what Nintendo was thinking with that.

Probably cancelled in favor of the Wii Diabetes Tester.

Oh, I'd buy two of those.

Think about it..

First nintendo has sayd that it's not dead.

And nintendo also say that we will understan the meaning when we see the games.

Why are i'm the only one, not waiting for a hospital or fitness game...?

I think the VT sensor, is for keeping us safe... safe when playng the next big thing from nintendo.. VR.. or as nintendo might call it... Wii-R..

I mean.. They know (as does all other VR arcade gamer) that being in the game, is the true way to play. They tried ones.. (we all know.. big fail) but what about now..? the hardware are there...  And Nintendo over and over says... HD is not next step...

Wii-R teaser ....

it's definitely dead. i'm a nintendo fan but, it's time to admit it, wii is the past. it has been innovating and everything, but the future is ps3 (which i'm a fan too lol)

It's dead. Nintendo probably decided it's better to cancel it quietly instead of releasing it and watching how it flops.

Let's be real here  - there's no usage for such a thing in games and even if you can think about something it makes no sense to make it for fingers instead of something on the arm.

Delayed for the Wii 2 is my guess.

Perhaps Nintendo didn't get the response they hoped.

Also, this may not be the time to release and lame perhiperal like that.

Like Kinect and Move? It's the season of lame peripherals!

And not being present today doesn't mean its dead, Nintendo already said it didn't want to release info about it at one of its traditional conferences
