just to let you all know playing on PE2 on psp was possible if you had CFW and changed the game ID to another game, there was a tool to create an eboot and change the game ID so it would play, but it crashed at a certain point in the game, with SE making an official PE2 psp compatible eboot I will be finally be able to complete it

I'd definitely buy both.

Apparently both were very scary games...

They weren't scary at all, but they were fun--1 more so than 2. I loved 1, but was annoyed by the RE style controls of 2; other gameplay elements were solid, but the story was a little off.

They'd better release PE1 even in Europe, it's not that much fun to play on PC emulator... Besides, it seems such a great game I want to pay a bit for it.
