Will developers struggle to come up with ways to control games. There aren't that many combinations you can use with your body while standing.
I'd love to see the ability to scan a toy gun and use that in a game, imagine that! you could go out and buy any toy gun and use it as a peripheral.
or maybe a gun that uses a flashing LEDs on the front to show you are shooting - it won't be able to see trigger pulls but can see flashing lights
Ok... maybe guns are a little obvious... toy swords?

MS removed the ability to scan in items, they said so themselves, so do not expect that from Kinect.
In a future iteration of the technology maybe, but not this one.

they didnt say thet took it out, they just havent incorporated it just yet, which they could later using an update
I really cant see playing FPS, Racing or ETC games on kinect without this feature
|
Possibly read wrong. I just remember it being said that they removed it from the Kinect launch as well as some other stuff.
Some article on it a few weeks back.

Ok, assuming it is still there - MAKE IT HAPPEN MICROSOFT!
if they can make it work well, with some good natural directional controls, I may be tempted to get a 360.
Don't disappoint me! DON'T MAKE ME GO KRATOS ON YOUR ASSES!
