not really, its just quieter , lighter, smaller and doesn't have that messy glossy finish , one unique feature is that it can sync with the a bravia tv's, i haven't tried that yet though, and don't know what it does.

isn't the PS3 region free in regards to ps1 as well as ps3 games, so does that leave the main benifit   the ability to import US blu-rays and are there many of them that don't get a EU release or release late  that you want ?

Ps3 is region free for PS3 games only , not BDs or PS1/2 games.

I got the move bundle for 60 bucks. I'm pretty excited. Fam is watching football though so haven't hooked it up.

Good thing I kept my  ntsc PS2 slim so i can play my US PS1/2 games .

This is probably a silly question, if you have an US account besides a EU/Aust one, are all the US PS classics  games made region free when they're put online ?

They're region free, you can buy any game on any store on any PS3 , thats why i have multiple accounts.

though the Video store doesn't work at all, i haven't tried it on the US PS3 yet, but i think its region locked by IP adress not by PS3.

you need to buy sports champions eyepet is pretty sweet just tried it out, and re5:gold despite what some wingers are saying, personally i like the controls but as i say each to their own.
