Holy crap, some of these are really good. They are not nearly as child-oriented as I expected, as some of the topics dealt with are pretty mature and quite violent.

Wonder Woman was particularly surprising, as I didn't expect them to really go balls-out on the feminist side of Wonder Woman like they did. Very true to the character and very cool.

Justice League The New Frontier dabbles with themes of McCarthyism, intolerance, and government control and while parts of it are pretty cheesy, the first half is very good.

Batman Under the Red Hood is one of the classic Batman stories and was a lot of fun.

Green Lantern First Flight, while different than the book, was still a pretty good origin story.

If you're into comics, these are really must-see movies. After watching them, I'm hesitant to go check out the Marvel equivalents because I have a feeling they aren't going to be nearly as good. Kudos to DC for not copping out on the subject material just because the movies are animated.

I've seen pretty much all of them and I agree they're great. The funny thing is I'm a much bigger Marvel fan.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

Hulk vs. was pretty good but very short.  I liked the Iron Man and Ultimate Avengers movies, too.  But yeah.  DC's movies have been on a higher level for years.  Just look at the quality of Justice League (series).  Death of Superman, New Frontier,Crisis on Two Earths, Public Enemies, etc. -DC can do no wrong!

I saw new frontier, lot of fun.

I saw the one with the Crime Syndicate of America too... really liked that one.

The whole Bruce Tim lead revolution of DC cartoons has in general been amazing though, I can't think of a DC cartoon I don't like.

I'm the same way, though I suspect that's because I'm a bigger fan of the settings then the characters.

When I play superhero roleplaying games i always set them in the Marvel verse because Marvel feels like it has more "Mid tier" people.

I could name 50 Dc characters off the top of my head... and they'd almost all eitehr be high tier could brawl with superman for a bit.  Or street levelrs.

While marvel Mid tiers... that's 80% of the X-men.

They just make me miss DC Animated Universe, though the ones i've seen have proven to be quite good in their own right

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I really didn't like Crisis on Two Earths. I think it probably has something to do with me equating multiple worlds and the downfall of the DC universe. Any time DC tries to tackle multiple worlds, the entire U goes to shit.

Any other Marvel U movies anyone wants to recommend?

I've been planning to check out "Planet Hulk" but I never got around to it.  I guess I'll Netflix it and let you know if it's any good.  And, even though it's not a movie, there was a series called "Spider-Man: The New Adventures" that came on MTV (it's on DVD, now) between the time that Spider-Man 1 and Spider-Man 2 were in theaters.  If you can get your hands on that series, I promise you you won't be let down.  Brian Michael Bendis was the writer and it definitely delivered!!
