Goldeneye for 3DS?

I considered putting that on the list, but only had so many slots.

It depends on how well the remake games do, but it's also likely, just I don't think it's likely to be the first announced.

The next Cod will probably be announced early next year, and assuming its on the 3DS, it should be the first.

Time for hype

COD Black Ops.  I fully expect it to be announced on the 29th actually.

I think Goldeneye Wii will be ported too, but that probably won't get announced until next year, after the Wii version's had a nice holiday sales period.  Unlike EA, Activision knows how to handle timed exclusives.

I could see another Prime Hunters from NST, or a Conduit 1/2 port/conversion, or a Red Steel game, but I also think we'll see more general FPS support than what Wii had.  I also think we'll see stuff from Gearbox, id, Crytek and (if the stars align) possibly even Valve.

Assuming the November rumor is true... or even if it's released later.

Goldeney is another matter. It depends on how the 3DS truly compares to the Wii in ways other than effects, as previews note the game has a lot of physics going on. Anything on how the 3DS can do those?

As for Valve, imagine Portal using the dual screens for the puzzles, or the 3D. Kindly try not to nerdgasm.

Then I'd hate to think if they actually did do something like that.

CoD, it gets a DS release so why wouldn't it 3DS?

This isn't "if CoD will be made for the 3DS", but "will it be announce for the 3DS before any other FPS is announced".

EDIT: But I forgot to put "announced" in the title, so damn.

I read it, and I say CoD since most other devs seem smart enough to not put FPS games on a device with such limited controls for the genre.

Eh, but I see TONS of fps on 360/PS3. ;)

Depends on the game. If you want to focus on shooting, and not too many other actions, that is enough control. And before you bring up that would make the game boring, the original Doom was basically shooting with few other actions. Those other actions could just be mapped to the cross buttons as the wouldn't be used too much.
