If iPhone can run it then PSP or 3DS could run it in their sleep.

Iphone 4G is way more powerful than PSP I think.

iPhone 4G - 2010

PSP - 2004

I would sure hope iPhone is more powerful than a 6 year old console. I heard its better at making calls too.

I'd say it most definatly could provide an equally beautiful looking game. Infact the game would look better in 3D then it ever could on the I-Phone. Whether Epic will adapt an engine for it or not is another story entirely. Also keep in mind that the I-phone has been out for a few years and developers have pushed it as far as its going to go. Just give the 3DS a few years and it will kick I-Phones butt.

Watch that and then read the thread title again

Looks Amazing considering that that iphone game is more or less a tech demo then looks like it can.

I've tried the thing on iTouch 3G, though impressive, it should be noted that it has some issues such as random hiccups from time to time, overheating in mere minutes though it seemingly doesn't affect the hardware, low resolution textures compared to superior iPhone 4 version and understandably low battery life. And I'm not sure if 4G version is offering meaningful upgrade aside from far better screen resolution. Essentially you need an iPhone 4 for this thing to run properly.

I do hope that 3DS will handle this kind of graphics easily but on more comfortable level, i.e. no overheating, 8 hours of battery life, stable 60 fps, stereoscopy - and all these for a price tag of $200-250. Of course it will come at a price of lower screen resolution compared to games on 4G devices and lower resolution textures compared to high-end games on iPhone 4, but the latter isn't surprising considering the cost of $500-700.

If those specs from IGN are right then no it doesn't (biggest problem is lack of RAM). Although it's pretty stupid to compare 3DS and Iphone in the first place when one costs 600$ and other will be 199-249$.

I doubt 3DS will be $199-$249..

considering it's using a very advanced 3D tech that isn't even out for tvs yet..

This isn't advanced 3d technology.

Yes glasses less 3D TVs are prohibitly expensive due to technology involved but that's only because they need to provide picture in wide angle.

And be a lot larger, meaning more material.
