Forums - Gaming - Nintendo Wii or Playstation 3?

Personally, buy a PS3. I paid big money for mine a few months back and dont regret it really. I like the Wii , but Id only play SMG at the moment.

If you liked the old ratchet and clanks youll love the new one, I find it very hard to put down. Plus, If youre buying for an investment then the PS3 is the better choice personally with the games you listed over the Wii.

Selling a 360 to buy a PS3 is rediculous. Look at the game library discrepency for what equates to the same gaming experience on both.

If you a big multimedia user and 'NEED' a blue ray player, then maybe, but not from a games perspective. I personally would rather take my chance on a product that has a chance to break but has a great game library than one that might work all the time but would collect dust in my entertainment center.

Besides, you can a blue ray player pretty cheap now any way (and I think backing either HD format now is a rediculous gamble)

 The difference in games really isnt that major anymore. the PS3 has some really great games to play;

Warhawk, resistance, motorstorm, R&C, Heavenly sword, Uncharted and those are just exclusives. Add on top COD4 and AC and youve got a fairly decent library built already.

You didn't. No wait, you did.

On a seperate not, if you have a significant other, I would definitely go for the wii.

Well yeah, how could anyone smart/awesome enough to use a KP avatar lie to you?

Very carefully.

Words of wisdom indeed.

Those look good >_<

Well of course they do. Ron Stoppable is an awesome cook. Nacos ring a bell anyone?

Get all three. Why do you have to have two? Just get all three. And why did you miss the Dreamcast? Tsk, tsk, tsk. Shame, shame, shame... No Dreamcast...

Get a Dreamcast play it and have fun with it and later buy a Wii and PS3 :).

I like how everyone is telling him about what they would buy, instead of what he should buy.

Which is somewhat obscured by the lack of info.

With a 360 there are pros and cons of each.

Really it's a decision that's best made on your own. Usually i'd say go with the Wii since it's always a horrible idea to buy a system on potential and games not out now, as it'll just sit around and you run the chance of just growing so bitter at it sitting around wasting space that you don't give it a fair chance.

But this is lessened since you have a 360 for your gaming needs as well. So really you have to decide which is more important to you.

Sony publishers and it's few third party exclusives or pretty much the entire Wii Library, since after this year i don't see many PS2/Wii multi-plat games... and any game on the Wii and PS3 would definitly be on the 360 as well.

The pure number of games you can get is vastly higher in a 360/Wii configuration, but who knows if those greater number of games will appeal to you.

Get both. :D
