Forums - Sony - Killzone 3 Review: 3D Impresses – Move does not

After experiencing Move first hand I can confidently say that with games developed using move controls in mind there is very little chance of any lag at all. This is because the almost 0 lag in the move controls of Sports Champions. I am sure developers like Guerilla and Zipper can handle that.

Sounds like he doesn't know how to use it. I'm not familiar with this "flying all over the place" issue he seems to think applies to the Wii too.

Why am I not surprised why someone who doesn't like something doesn't know how to use it?  As I see it, the basis of this is an agenda piece where an individual who doesn't like something, creates an article they hope gets circulated and ends up changing the mind of others to like or dislike something.  The opinion isn't to based upon the person trying the product, but what is said.   I personally don't like 3D with glasses, because with my regular glasses on, it doesn't work right, and gets blurry, and isn't fun.  However, if people do happen to want to do 3D, more power to them.  I guess I could get scared the world will change, and I have to adapt, but I say that is life.  I will have to trust people can still provide me content I like, that isn't in 3D.

Agreeing with a lot of people here regarding the 'flying all over the place' thing. I own several Wii FPS, and I've rented a bunch also. As long as your not stupid, I find it improves the experience. Unless it was implimented in a rediculous way. But yeah, if the reviewers hate the Wii, why are they going to treat Move any better? It's just ignorance.

8th gen predictions. (made early 2014)
PS4: 60-65m
WiiU: 30-35m
X1: 30-35m
3DS: 80-85m
PSV: 15-20m

Sounds like someone tried to waggle through it.

Or maybe he's really nervous?

Looking forward to seeing this in 3D.

So far all 3D games on PS3 are not worth taking the glasses out of their pouch, but hope this changes it...

They say 3D support was built from the ground up.

Indeed. Thats why it should be better. The problem I have is that current PS3 3d games don't have a 3d depth/convergence increase/decrease option. My eyes are used to 3d as I've been playing 3d games for almost 2 years on the PC, so I want things to jump off the screen... The defailt 3D setting in curent PS3 games is hardly 3D to me.

Weren't those all already released games which got 3D basically tacked on?

You can't get 3d "tacked on". it either works well or it doesn't, doesn't matter if its done post game design or pre.

Nvidia 3D vision has 100s of games which weren't designed with 3D in mind work flawlessly. Its in the driver which makes the game 3D not building the game to run in 3D.

Reason why Killzone 3 is being designed with 3D in mind is simply because optimization. PS3 does't have the processing power of a PC and game needs to be designed sparingly with 3D effect in mind...

Its really not a 3D implementation issue but an issue of user control.

Well I said tacked on because it's as you said, KZ3 is being optimized for 3D, while the others probably weren't. But I know what you mean now.

They need to add an in game slider like the 3DS will have to increase/decrease the 3D effect IMO.

It is always nice to see motion haters talk about motion controls. To bad anyone paying attention to the game knows guerrilla already said the final build will have adjustable sensitivity, and bounding boxes. If it controls like The Conduit, then it will blow anything else on PS3 and 360 out of the water. IMO The Conduit is the benchmark, best fps controls ever.

Seriously?

Very. Have you played it?

Now the only real world shooting example I have to compare to it is paint ball, and it was the closest I have ever felt to actually being in the battle field. I understand some people want to be super human with M&K, but that is not my style.

Is the learning curve for Move or any controller that big....hmmm

In any case, I'll take "flying all over the place" over the wading-through-molasses controls in Killzone 2.

I hoping someone will bring out a rifle move mount - that would make the whole experience more realistic, and help with 'flying all over the place issue.'

something like this?

Holy shit yes!

I wonder how well it works!
