Just so everyone knows a user with 6 posts created this "news" and even admits in the link i provided he pulled the 75% number out of his ass.

The update may in fact disable UNLICENSED usb devices but we dont know yet. Settle down, folks, Just like with all similar cases, I'm siding with the legality and business right to protect a device. If it isnt licensed it may not work. And i also dont think this applies to storage devices, i think its more controller, peripheral functionality, probably to thwart possible 3rd party unlicensed Move controllers or navigation controllers, but thats just me guessing.

I'm definitely not with Sony here. I'm not a big fan of piracy either but let's face it, I doubt piracy will never disappear.

i really hope a Mod is available to either edit or remove this thread. The OP Source registered to the forums yesterday, has 6 posts and admits to making up the 75% number. He has 2 items that "dont work" listed in his thread. People are blowing this way out of proportion.
