I like their reviews, not perfect but good enough and fun to watch.

considering that the vast majority of PCs are used by businesses which often don't upgrade for 10 years and schools, plus the number of cheap web-browser/email PCs and netbooks etc those statistics probably aren't far off, of course as there are hundreds of millions of PCs in the world there a still tens of millions of PCs more powerful.

And 4-5 years ago that was undoubtedly an accurate statement. Even today I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of computers in use were less capable than a PS3 in actual game-playing performance*. Intel's first dual core processors came out 4 years ago iirc, and they weren't to the standards of the tri-core processor in the Xbox360 in terms of clockspeeds (let alone performance). The PS3 GPU may have been outdated when it came out, but considering the fact that a lot of games can be made to run beautifully without the RSX at all speaks to how powerful the CPU is in that system.
*Keep in mind games on PC require far more resouces than those on consoles even if they add nothing to the experience
You do not have the right to never be offended.
Well PS3 craps all over my PC, it makes my work PC puke in its mouth over how much better the PS3 is and my laptop has e-peen envy of PS3.
PS3 and Xbox are definitely more powerful than 2010 PCs and laptops being sold to people who are not PC gamers and don't do high demand video / graphic design stuff. So that probably does still make it 90% of all PCs that are actively in operation in the world. Back when PS3 was released it was probably more like 95% of PCs.
PC gaming fans may be only about 5-10% of the global PC market these days.

5-10% holly shit you do realise there were ~300 million PCs sold in 2009 right? 15-30 million new gaming PCs a year seems kinda high to me...

I love Gametrailers, let's face it, every site is going to have the odd review you disagree with as reviews are based on the opinion of the reviewer in question. The best thing to do is look at the average reviews of a game on Gamerankings.com. Take a look at the best and worst reviews for each game and balance it out yourself. If I was going to start bitching about reviews from any sites I'd be knocking GameSpy and Gamepro before any other reviewers. Those guys basically slate anything that doesn't feature big guns and isn't an FPS!

I love GT for it's content (trailers, interviews, Pach attack etc) I hardly ever watch their reviews. But yea picking one site for your reviews never seemed like a good idea to me, unless you find a reviewer that shares you opinions on a lot of games, but I haven't found someone like that yet. But then again I never put much stock in reviews, I would use them to find out about a games strengths and weaknesses but there are other factors the influence me more like friends, developers/series (I know, can lead to bad decisions but it is a factor), trailers, demos and concepts and ideas.
Oh and gamespy is sh!t lol.

Maybe I should have said global PC ownership rather than market. I suspect maybe 5-10 million gaming PC's sold per year?

sounds more reasonable maybe a bit high for pre-built gaming machines, but if you are including self made PCs in that about that sounds about right to me if a little low but that's probably wishful thinking on my part.
think about it 5-10 million is probably broad enough to cover it.

This post holds more truth than a big truth holding thing.

And the Uncharted 2 originality thing still makes me laugh.
