Forums - Microsoft - Tesco selling Reach for £28!

That's right £28! It's instore only I think and you need to buy 2100MSP for just over £16, for a grand total of just over £44.

I don't know how long they're going to be doing it for but if you're thinking of picking up Reach it's a pretty good deal.

Yeah but that would require me to pay for Live in order to use them, which would cost a minimum of £5 (One month minimum) so that'd be £49 whereas I could just buy the game for £35 from my local Tesco and be happy, lol.

Why would you need to buy live?? You can still use points on a free silver account.

Lol yeah I realised that after posting, lol... okay, well since my 360 is in another room, I'd have to buy a wireless adapter to spend the points, which is an extra £40-50, so yeah... lol.

Or you could buy a longer ethernet cable for pennies, or hook it up, connect to live once, download the game and disconnect again.

Cool beans. I got my copy of Halo Reach for $39 on Amazon when I preordered it. And I save $20 on my next purchase.

It's too far away for any of my ethernet cables to reach (... Heh), and my router is filled up, I've got 4 computers hooked up to it, as well as a laptop and PS3 wireless through it... and I can't be arsed having to go into a different room to switch a cable around to annoy someone because their internet has gone off, to go back into another room to use the MS Points to go BACK into the first room and plug 'em back around, it's just so much effort... that, and there isn't anything on XBL Marketplace that I'm really bothered for at the moment, lol... I'll just take my Halo Reach for £35, it's easier.


Ok, sell the points for £15 then :)
