But EA support independant studios. Do you really want to support a company that supports independant studios? |
Of course not, we already know that every independant developer other than Bungie is shit.
Dear Bobby
Please make your own console and make all activision games exclusive on it. I don't like when your shovelware and mass manufactured sequels polute shelves in shops stealing place from other better games.
Thank You.

Taking a step back from the controversy I had to re-read his statement a couple of times.
I have to admit Kotick has vision. That vision is a future where all gaming is online and subscription-based. Basically a "Gamebook" where you log in and peruse through categories of games to play then and there. In Kotick's vision, there is no need for a home console as their natural evolution will make them similar, yet inferior counterparts to gaming PCs, only with Mario and Yoshi for the nostalgic.
I don't necessarily agree with Kotick's vision of future gaming, but I don't disagree or discount it at all. I think his vision is a tad early, a tad too bold, and completely underestimates how neurotically gamers stick to their consoles for no reason, many times, other than to stay loyal to the brand.
Kotick may not be advocating gaming on the PC per se, but he is advocating gaming on platforms other than consoles. Kotick forsees smart phones and iPad-like devices coming on par with gaming PCs in a decade or less. Henceforth, why should Kotick not advocate for gaming on a surging market where everyone has one?

That's a strange way of looking at things. I'll just stick to the fact that he thinks like a businessman, and only like a businessman.
Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!
Kojima: Come out with Project S already!
Kotick is going down the path with Activison he is so blind that COD will sell every year and that it could sell every 6 months
COD will fail shortly simple since everyone will get sick of the same game over and over.
Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong
Heh Considering Activision hasn't put a single good game out in years I don't believe it at all. Sony / Microsoft make way better games.
Naughty Dog would rip these devs a new asshole in a competition.
well activison can make there own console
since bad mouthing the Manufactures games isn't a good motive since they need them to Run there business
Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong
I like kotick... I don't even know who is the boss at MS, EA, Ubisoft, Sony, Nintendo, Take2.. he isn't a gamer but a businessman.. and he tries to maximize profits..which is good.. if gamers where in control the companies would turn into a pile of shit..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)
Activision literally destroyed the Crash Bandicoot and Spyro series.
