Forums - Nintendo - Radiant Dawn or Zack and Wiki?

I don't know if this deserves its own thread (most likely not XD), but I really need opinions.

 I finally have enough money to get another game after buying Galaxy, and I really, trully, do not know if I should pick Radiant Dawn or Zack and Wiki...So, I need opinions. Which game would give me the most value for my money? A very good, lengthy strategy game or an awesome new IP?

I have to say that I don't have any preference whatsoever right now. So don't even bother saying I should buy which ever game I think I would enjoy most (I want them both equally, but I can only get one). Because even though I loved Path of Radiance, and I wanted its sequel since forever, I also really want to try out Zack and Wiki to experience something new and refreshing. I want to buy Radiant Dawn because I know it will be another great game from Nintendo. I want to buy Zack and Wiki because I have been hyped for this game for months and I also want to support Capcom, not to mention the great reviews it's received.

So, for people who have played either game, or better yet, both--what do you think I should do?

P.S. Which ever game I ultimately buy, will be the only game I get for December. My next one will be Brawl most likely. If I get one, I would have to get the other after Brawl...and I really want to play both. Omg, I hate this!

cough...Metroid Prime 3.....cough

Having no experience with Radiant Dawn whatsoever, I can state with most certainty that you want Zack & Wiki!

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Fire Emblem by a land-slide!

Great game that is terrific in most all areas. It's up there with Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3 as one of the best game released this year IMO.

Zack and Wiki later at the bargain bin.

Both are great games in their own rights. Of course Z&W is less expensive. RD is a fun strategy game and if you liked POR, you should definitely try out the sequel.

Difficulty: RD is far more difficult than Z&W. Z&W did have its very tricky puzzles at times that may require some thought. You may even get stuck a couple times. But RD is fiendishly difficult. I liked that it was that way. I enjoyed it.

Longevity: I have beaten RD and have clocked in just over 50 hours. Its a very lengthy game. Its huge. You will be busy for a while! Z&W was 15-20 hours I believe.

Its too hard for me to make a decision for you. But I don't think you can go wrong. Either game you choose, you will definitely enjoy.

@super_etecoon

I already have MP3. I got it the day after it was released. Loved every minute of it. Beat it three times.

RD or Z&W...

@loadedstatement
I do love fiendishly hard games. Hmmm.

I don't have either.

I'd lean towards Fire Emblem, but then again I am a SRPG nut. It should have a lot more gameplay per playthrough.

Also they tend to have some insane throwaway unlockables. Like some games i believe you can unlock some characters in the side mode if you beat the game through like... 10 times. Which would be like... way too many hours.

 I haven't played Radiant Dawn (Or any of the FE series)....but Zack and Wiki is certainly a must buy.

I don't think there is anyone on this forum who could disagree.

 I second this motion.  I don't know about Radiant Dawn, but my wife and I are playing through Zack & Wiki right now and having a blast.  The price tag is also pretty nice.

I know you believe you understand what you think I said but I don't think you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
