Good games, of the system seller type. If they can do that, they'll achieve sucess.

Above: still the best game of the year.

No force on this world is going to make Nintendo come in second in the world or handheld gaming. That's like trying to beat Schpoople champion Fjorg Van Der Ploog in a game of Schpoople. I just want Sony's PSP2 to be profitable and have a large enough userbase to support great games. As much as I love Nintendo, I don't want to live in a world where their consoles are the only option. The handheld market needs Sony.
I think it should go the way of the iPod Touch, a media device with touch screen controls and sliding physical controls (with 2 analogs) and Android, what would make it diferent from the iPod Touch is that you will be able to play casual games and more robust experiencies that only Sony and their third partys can offer (God of War, LBP, Metal Gear, Heavy Rain, Ratchet, Sly Copper, Jak, Grand Turismo, etc).
Oh and of course it should be able to play PSP One games.

The PSP is quite profitable, that's never been an issue. It has made Sony more money than the PS3. And, as I said before, it will sell tons of console, but software needs to be sold as well and that's where Sony needs to focus. We are talking about a 60 million units console, and people are talking about miracle.

touchscreen, and remove analog sticks and stay away from android, thats pirates paridise.
but THE MOST IMPORTANT if hackers CAN NOT use it to emulate ps2 games sony wins big time.

^^^Very good point. Kill piracy. PSP, PS2, Homebrew, emulators, etc. The new console has to be tougher to break than the PS3. The more software the PSP2 can sell, the more software companies will want to produce. Piracy was one of the biggest weights around the PSP's neck.

parites and hackers will push sony out of the gameing business. i didnt see this comming but its happening.

lots of comments in that thread about people selling their psps because now they can play psp upscaled games with their ps3s. getting worse and worse.
