Excepting computers/os apple was crushed early in the game in every other market wich they don't dominate. As I said they need to be taken out fast or it will be one heck of a ride.

The last thing I want is Apple in the games market... We already have an Apple-esque company in it called Nintendo and they're far better at this job than Apple would ever be.

Even if they did, I wouldn't really see it as a threat to anyone. If there's one thing Apple is absolutely horrible at it's pricing.

What are they going to do? Make an underpowered machine with a controller with 1 button that costs $900 and just has a slide puzzle as its launch title?

Something people don't realize is that they already on in the handheld gaming market, I have a few games already on my Ipod, so for them to expand that on new models of the ipod/iphone, isn't really a big deal. I think if anything you'll see their handhelds be more multifunction, they won't make a seperate device, just a new I-pod thats more accessable to gaming, sort of taking the DS's lead with touch screen gaming, and using itunes for downloadable content isn't a bad step.

The IPod's SuDoKu game is actually pretty good. Then I got a DS, and the iPod sits untouched.

Iphone is a terrible phone compare to all other cellphone producers, Motorola is in the same crapy category as iphone. Those two phone are being popular mostly in U.S because thanks to U.S Gov't put limitation on foreign phones imports. Ever wonder why after like 5 years the Razor still is the best thing in U.S market before iphone launched??? IF U.S gov't allow every single new phone produce from other countries into the U.S market I can assure you those Razor and Iphone will look like some kind of devices from the stone age. I can bet my money Soon Apple will have a new version of iphone that only add 3G support and apple fanatic will go out and buy it like its something amazingly out of this world invention. hahaha
