Something people don't realize is that they already on in the handheld gaming market, I have a few games already on my Ipod, so for them to expand that on new models of the ipod/iphone, isn't really a big deal. I think if anything you'll see their handhelds be more multifunction, they won't make a seperate device, just a new I-pod thats more accessable to gaming, sort of taking the DS's lead with touch screen gaming, and using itunes for downloadable content isn't a bad step.
