Poor Poor Leo, if you bought 2x Move controller on Gamestop.com you could have saved $20 and got free shipping, spending only $79.98 before taxes instead of $99.98.

I can't buy it online, gamestop doesn't ship it to me because of a mailing issue, now amazon that's different.. but I have a gamestop next door so

I didn't even pick up any Move controllers yet. I was supposed to get it today but I spent my money on Android phone for me and my girlfriend and paid off LBP2 Collector's Edition in full, so the Move will have to wait a little while. I will have it in time for LBP2 though.

If they tell you they're out, they really are out but only because they order pretty much the bare minimum for anything.  They want you to preorder stuff.

If they tell you they only have 1-2 left, they have a minimum 10 left and just keep them in the back.  They then tell you that you should have preordered it to guarantee you get it next time.

(and this goes for anything from Gamestop, not just Move)

So.  I was just referring to the two stores hatmoza called.  But nice of you to assume worse case scenario to justify your point.  You don't know how many were ordered before those two stores sold out.  And you don't know how many is "in the back" and what they are saying to the customers.  It can and I'm sure it has happened.  But yeah, let's just be a troll by under-hyping the potential good sales of the Move.

I've pretty much lost all faith in Gamestop.  It's a terrible place and not even because of used games.  I don't have anything against selling used games, in fact, I think it's a great thing if you want to save a few bucks.

What I have issue with them is that they purposely order enough to cover preorders plus a handful of extras.  They do this because they want to make you preorder and they know they can do this because they make obscene amounts of money from their used games sales that they can afford to teach you a lesson.

So they had very few to begging with? there were a lot of preorders?, this anecdotical evidence its driving me insane, we need more data.

I hate Gamestop because the employees don't answer questions to give the customer the answer they want. They just sit there and try to feed you their personal opinion bullshit that 9 out of 10 customers don't give a shit about since they went in there for a product and want to leave with that product only.

Nothing pissed me off more gaming wise than when I bought Red Dead Redemption for the PS3 and the first time I walked in they were like "We are currently out of PS3 versions but we still have a couple 360 versions. If you have a 360 you should get this instead since it looks a lot better."

I really hate that shit. In my Gamestop it happens way too much.

So those who say they are lying I call bullshit, I have worked retail for a long time and I have learned that if the customer can't get it at one place they will get it somewhere else. Playing mind games does not get gamestop money,especially when i can go to walmart, target, best buy, etc to get move.
