Nah, As long as GT5 is out this holidays EMEAA is Sony's turf.

Sorry for the late update. I was away on vacation for the weekend. Slight downwards adjustments for PS3 and Wii. Wii is now beginning to trend rather dramatically down YOY in EMEAA, down this week by almost 70k or 37%. I suppose it was inevitable with the huge impact the Wii's price cut had last year although this was the week of the Red Wii release. PS3 is actually up YOY in EMEAA this week, and obviously so is 360. I put in a tentative GT5 release date of November 24th since that seems to be the official release date for India.

Kinect will be big, as will DK. But Gran Turismo will be bigger!

PS 3could win this, but i think Nintendo has a better chance at it

PS3 sees a slight downwards adjustment and Wii a moderate upwards adjustment this week and Wii also takes a modest lead in weekly sales this week as well. 360 remains unchanged. PS3 still has a 200k lead over the Wii so far for the quarter. Could Wii regain some ground before GT5 releases? We'll just have to wait and see. At this point it's almost looking like an impossibility for 360 to take the lead unless Kinect delivers a truly miraculous turnaround in EMEAA.

Things are really starting to heat up! PS3 reclaims the weekly lead and holds off 360's onslaught with Kinect while Wii falls back to third in weekly sales. At this point it seems like 360 is going to be cemented in third place for the quarter unless it pulls off a crazy coup and passes the Wii. With GT5 coming in 2 weeks Wii is going to need to pull off some very big boosts during the holiday to erase the expanding gap between it and the PS3.

Wow, PS3 with quite an impressive hold.  It's looking much more possible now.

Its possible with the PS3 up and the Wii down by a big margin but all in all I think it has a lot better chance of taking Japan for the holidays. It also depends on the 360's showing, of course.
