15,000 people have been kicked out because of this policy, you really think we don't need these people?  This isn't a draft, it's not an unlimited supply of people.  Then there is obviously the moral issue, it's just wrong.

If anything Lady GaGa is actually doing a good job by putting this issue in the spotlight (as if it weren't already though). Things like the Superbowl or gossip about celebrities lives are distractions from what's important, not celebrities actually trying to bring major issues into the public's attention (this being an example of celebrities actually using their popularity for something good and usefull).
